WKYS wants to give local artists a chance to get their music heard by thousands of listeners and readers. DMV's Own is also the primary way to submit music to 93.9 WKYS digitally for consideration for online and on-air play. Add to the music database today!

Every Monday, WKYS will select a submission in DMV's Own and prominently feature the chosen local artist on KYSDC.com. If your hot enough our DJs may even scoop up your track and play it on the radio.

How does it work?

Submit your radio edited music single along with a photo & short description to KYSDC.com and have your fans vote starting.

Remember, all songs submitted on this site must be original, must not contain any uncleared samples and be clean edited for radio. Also, make sure you are sharing your music. Utilize the social network buttons, push fans to rate your song, make adjustments, collaborate, and create the perfect radio single. VOTE OFTEN: Every registered user is allowed to vote once per day. That means one person can give you multiple votes if they vote everyday!
